Woodlawn Elementary School, home of the Cubs, is committed to academic excellence, a focus on the performing arts, and a dedication to creating an environment that supports critical thinking through an emphasis on STEM. The school offers a Gifted Resource Program, Talented Program, Scholastic Academy Program and an English Language Learner Program. Our students succeed by incorporating a variety of resources into their instructional day. Included is 1:1 Technology via Chromebooks (grades 3-5), a technology lab with a Makerspace Reader Program.
The school expands learning opportunities through an extended-day program and an open-access media center. Woodlawn Elementary also provides its students with social and emotional support through a focus on Growth Mindset, PBIS, ICare and its Student Council Ambassadors.
