Mayfair Lab is well known for academic excellence in a small school setting. Developed as a partnership with Louisiana State University Laboratory School, Mayfair Lab incorporates the dual-teacher model in the foundational grades to foster success throughout the program. With a mission to develop problem- solvers with deep concern for the world we live in, every grade level adopts an environmental project on our campus and works collaboratively to develop solutions. Mayfair Lab is proud to offer families a consistent educational experience from early childhood through middle school. It is the only nationally certified Demonstration Magnet School in Louisiana.
I am honored and privileged to serve as principal of Mayfair Lab, which is more than a school. It is a community guided by our vision: Explore! Excite! Empower! Our community is committed to facilitating a rigorous academic program rooted in environmental studies through the four Cs of STEM: creativity, collaboration, communication and critical thinking. With our hands-on approach to learning, involved families, and community partnerships, we strive for every child to grow and succeed within our nurturing and supportive environment.
