There is such a strong family connection that Brownfields has had students return to the campus years later as certified teachers. Other alumni have returned to share stories of success that can be directly tied to their time at Brownfields. Brownfields鈥 vision is to be an A++ school where all stakeholders are engaged in providing a quality education for their children. The school strives to educate the whole child … academically, socially, and emotionally. Programs include gifted and talented arts programs, partnerships with the LSU Museum of Art, Manship Theatre and Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge.
Brownfields Elementary is known for our roots in family and community. We have served the Brownfields community for 65 years. Brownfields is home to gifted and talented programs in addition to our traditional education program. Our teachers take the lead in ensuring all students receive the best education. Together we strive to instill excellence in our students through educating the whole child and providing a diverse range of experiences. Our efforts ae evident in our 鈥淎鈥 progress letter grade year after year. Brownfields is a school parents are proud to send their children to.
