Office of Workforce Development

The Office of Workforce Development aims to ensures students of the 皇家华人 engage in Work-Based Learning from the lens of a that consists of Awareness, Exploration, Preparation, and Training; each phase building upon the previous one, gradually preparing students for the workforce by expanding their knowledge and skills related to careers. The Work-Based Learning (WBL) continuum provides a structured framework for integrating real-world work experiences with educational content across various developmental stages in a student’s academic journey.

The , a partnership between BRAC and 皇家华人 Parish Schools designed to align K-12 education with the needs of business and industry, has identified five high-wage, high-demand sectors:聽

  1. Technology
  2. Construction and Manufacturing
  3. Medical/Pre-Med
  4. Transportation and Logistics
  5. Business Management and Professional Services

Our Workforce Development program provides structured educational and training activities that intentionally provide students with real-world workplace experiences directly connected with these career sectors. these experiences not only offer practical training, but also integrate with a student’s school curriculum, allowing them to apply classroom theories to concrete, practical work tasks.

Additionally, to prepare students to succeed in the 21st century workforce, we offer access to advanced coursework opportunities and industry-based credential attainment, as well as maintain partnerships with post-secondary institutions to create avenues that ensure students are exposed to the rigor and skills needed for college and beyond.
